One of the albums that sparked the end of music by influencing other people to make music just as dull as this album.

I wouldnt say its a classic...the skits were thrown in everywhere, and it was kind of messy...though it did feature some big hits. Its a good cd.

I actually was one of the people who hated West Coast rap from 1992-1996. But after a while it grew on me. I only own Chronic 2000, Doggystyle and Blue Carpet Treatment. I had to hear The Chronic all the time from my mom's ex boyfriend playing it all the fuckin time. It got on my damn nerves after a while.

I do like The Chronic, Dre creates catchy beats, but he should have toned down the misogyny in the lyrics, that part I could do without.

Anyone who felt Dre's production work on TC was "lazy" has absolutely no idea what Hip Hop is and should never ever respond to a Hip Hop thread.
