gangsta is gonna have a NICE story for you guys. i'll let him give the full set list but suffice it to say that tori used props tonight. a knife. a gun. and she debuted a ROCK VERSION of me and a gun while using said props.

my account is going to expire any minute now, so i'm thrilled to make this my last post in the music:non prince forum.

I saw her both nights in NYC
touched touched touched touched touched touched

She was so amazing, Friday 10/12 was the best Tori show I've ever seen. Her parents were in the audience too.
I'm a little disappointed that it isn't available on 'legs & boots' bootleg, but I know it's probably because of Madison Square Gardens strict rules & fees for recording. sad

Rock?! neutral I don't know. Hopefully I can find it on Youtube.

But the original is so powerful, I feel like anything else will take away from it.

I spoke with Nathan late last night and the story about the song is bone chilling but amazing. Art to the nth degree. I wish I'd been there. Have a safe drive home, Nathan!

Gangsta told me that it's the single most powerful piece of art he's ever seen in his entire life.

had 5th row seats last night at Northrop.

Yes, Tori is amazing, and the first 30 minutes were awesome, and then...i don't know, i hate to say it but it just kinda dragged, started to sound like one long song, same approach to every song, everything played just a tad too quick. and the show seemed short. rapport with audience somewhat lacking as well, although she did have all the sassy glam stage moves goin' on.

i was not a huge fan of the set-list.
she came back for a one song encore with Jupiter.

that happened to me on 10/11. it just seemed to have no energy. It was the first real Tori show I had been to (excluding her 30 minute show at the ADP release party) and I was disappointed. The set list was pretty good, my seats were pretty good, but something was WRONG.
I mean, she kicked ass the next night, but still... neutral

He really should be here. Reading the Tori posts from you and Sassy is infectious! You two fan the fires of Pele and Earthquakes like no others. At least you are still here and keeping the embers hot. hug

nod Keep posting, I'm reading everything. I'll see Tori on December 8 & 9, so can add more when the time comes. Gangsta, can you post the set list which included the Me & A Gun performance?

I'm secretly hoping I'll get to see Dragon, but I don't want to have any expectations because it's so hit and miss. If I get some nice surprises, that would be okay too. smile

Nathan and I saw Dragon in Detroit. It was SO intense and exquisitely, painfully beautiful. We just held hands and cried the whole time. I hope you'll have the chance to see it. Two shows ~~~ yay! for you!!!!
