well, have fun at the show and come back with a full report! Dude. I've been missing you at these shows! It's not the same without you now. I tripped out for a minute cuz there was a guy there who I swear could've been your doppelganger. It wasn't until closer inspection when I noticed the eyebrow and lip ring that I knew it wasn't you.

This isn't entirely accurate, as she made a few modifications as she went. But this is what she was supposed to play...

It was a stunning show!!!! Gangsta and I were emotional wrecks for most of it. Santa's set was just incredible. Hearing Dragon live was the most exquisite highlight! Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. --Kahlil Gibran

I need to write some proper reviews soon.
But for now, a few quick thoughts. I'm completely in love with Santa. And I'm so thrilled I got my wish of seeing her. Pip blows my fucking mind. She scares me. In a good way. For a minute I was a little bummed at the end of the Detroit show, but I've gotten over myself.

I'll let gangsta fill you in on the fun but yes!!!! she's your cocaine ~ sultry crescendo of fire, insane keys, had us gripping the seats. When it was over I said to Nathan, ohhhhh ~ Sassy should've come to Detroit! Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. --Kahlil Gibran

I'll let gangsta fill you in on the fun but yes!!!! she's your cocaine ~ sultry crescendo of fire, insane keys, had us gripping the seats. When it was over I said to Nathan, ohhhhh ~ Sassy should've come to Detroit! Well, there were a few changes. I wasn't really happy about any of 'em, but they were understandable, I guess. Shortly into the Tori set, it was obvious that she was having some discomfort. About a minute into "Black Dove", she cut the song short, saying... "Wait a minute! I have to go get out of this corset. I feel like I can't fucking breathe! Go ahead, guys. Playing something. Anything." So she ran off stage for about 5 minutes to change and came back on stage cracking up. Then she resumed with "Crucify". During the solo segment, she for some reason decided to leave out "Sister Janet" and replaced it with "Cloud on my Tongue". I loved all the songs played during the T & Bö, so I can't really complain. And they were all done as well as I've ever heard them. But I just love "Sister Janet" so fucking much that it stung a little to know she had it planned. And because she started the show a little late, she cut the encore short and we only got 2 songs. She left out "Tear In Your Hand", which is the song that made me a fan. But overall, I was thrilled with this show. I was praying for Santa and I got her. All of the ADP songs she played were rocking. She's as rocking as Pip. Where Pip is angry and confrontational, Santa is sensual and playful. But "Body & Soul", "You Can Bring Your Dog", and "She's Your Cocaine" thoroughly kicked my ass. Full band versions of "Dragon", "Honey", "Siren" and "Horses" were revelations as well. She sounds so confident and excited this tour. I read someone else mention that this might be her best tour yet, not only for the raw showmanship and theatrics of it, but because as time goes on, she has the grace and ease that comes with age.

i can't wait for 4 december, baby! Ya know what I wish? I was there was a package price for all these "Legs & Boots" for those of us crazy enough to want them all. Something like $150 and you get access to all the shows. Maybe I'll ask her in Chicago if I make it to the meet n greets. But if we were smart, the handful of us who are that psycho should pool our resources. Even if there were only 5 of us, we could divide up the nearly 50 U.S. shows and each of us could buy 10 of them, and then swap all the ones we don't have. Just an idea.
