The album was released in 1978.
I got a whole bunch of sources to back my claim up... Blam!! on vinyl, picture disc and CD (all of them state 1978 as the year of release) The book Funk, by Dave Thompson (states 1978 as the year of release) allmusic.com 'The Brothers Johnson' discography, http://wm02.allmusic.com/...qw5ldde~T2 Anyways, Blam!! is the best Brothers Johnson album. I love every single cut on it. Mista' Cool is a helluva cool cut. The bassline is maaaaddd coool It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
