Bobby Brown denies heart attack reports

Singer Bobby Brown has denied reports that he was taken to hospital after suffering a heart attack.

The singer set the record straight after the story was widely reported when his Atlanta attorney reportedly confirmed the heart attack.

Brown told Associated Press Radio that he was simply at the hospital for a check-up.

He said: "None of it's true. I went in for a check-up. The doc gave me a clean bill of health."

"I did go to the hospital. to just get a check-up, get everything tested out so that I could go on this tour, and everything is fine."

Brown also said: "I don't know where the heart attack thing came from. I got my heart and everything checked out earlier this morning, and I'm just fine."

As Bobby Brown was wrapping up his telephone press tour Wednesday to deny reports that he had suffered a mild heart attack, a photo of the singer (see below) was making its way around the Internet that appearead to show him in a hospital bed hooked up to IVs and a heart monitor.

Brown spoke with EUR's Lee Bailey, AP Radio and other outlets Wednesday afternoon to deny reports from his lawyer that he was taken to the hospital with chest pains that were later diagnosed to be a mild heart attack.

The singer said he had gone to the hospital, but only to get a check-up in advance of an upcoming tour. However, a photograph first published on Web site X17 showing him in a hospital bed and hooked to various tubes suggests that Brown's visit was of a more serious nature.

When asked if Brown had any comment on the photo, his publicist Stephanie Abdullah told EUR: "No, we are not commenting on any photos."

X17 online also claims to have a videotape showing Brown delivering a not-so-nice goodbye gesture to his ex-wife Whitney.

According to British newspaper The Sun, the video shows Brown telling his current girlfriend Alicia Etheridge that he loves her before dedicating his middle finger to Houston.

While attached to the heart monitor, Brown reportedly moans: "This is Bobby Brown, I'm about to go under the knife. ... So whatever happens - I know nothing's guaranteed, so I want to tell my kids I love you. Sisters, my mother, my father, I love y'all dearly. To whomever it may concern this ain't about nothing else, you know. I had a heart attack, you know and you know this is, this is really messed up, I don't know what's gonna happen, so just know I love you all. Take care yourselves, I love you. All my boys, New Edition, peace, man."

I was in Border's the other day and thumbed through Karrine "Supahead" Stevans latest book. She said that Bob was so deep into drugs that she was worried about his heart. Strange that he would have heart trouble so close to the books' publication.

Actually, there was a rumor that Whitney had to stop a recording session and go home for the day because Bobby was trying to get her to do coke. I don't know how true that is though. Maybe that's why Bobby gave Whitney the middle finger because she refused to partake in his activities.

I know some of y'all would say "well Whitney turned him on to it" anyways though. I actually think Cissy or someone knocked the "white" off her black ass, get it? "White" off black ass? I'm so evil.
