What album was you keep me coming back from?

"You Keep Me Coming Back" was from their 1984 album, "Out of Control"

Although this album is widely considered an artistic and commercial flop,I like several tracks. The first single "You Keep Me Comin Back" is a nice groove, and the album closes with a haunting,synth-heavy ballad "It's All Over Now",which is one of my Top 10 Brothers Johnsons songs.

I remember they released a so so track around 1988 called kick it to
the curb. By this time, the brothers j seemed to have lost their golden touch.

You're right, the 1988 album was called "Kickin", with the track, "Kick it to the Curb" --and that's just what most fans did, lol ...

I'm not in love with this album, but there are a few decent tracks.I really like the song "I Fresh".

If I'm not misaken,I think this was the last studio album that they made.A few years ago, they were talking about making a new album but so far,it hasn't materialized.

I always wanted to hear this song, but I never bought the 45 single of "Stomp".I think it's a bonus track on the Japanese import of the 'Winners' CD (very expensive).

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

biggrin Although that should be included, since it's one of their compositions--I noticed it was included in the Brothers Johnson Greatest Hits package....

yeah I got thrown off because I didn't know it was a quincy jones cut. I found out recently, but it sounds like it should have been on their lp. thanks paligap

It's a great cut Soul, it reminds you of Light Up The Night/Off Broadway musically.

I was just surprised to see that his top five only had one cut outta their first four albums (their best work, imo).
