Behind The Mask was an outtake from Thriller "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

Wasn't this a Greg Phillinganes tune? When he went to play for Clapton, he took it with him, right?
Ahh, here is Greg's version: http://www.youtube.com/wa...ed&search= And the original, YMO version: http://www.youtube.com/wa...8IMbm4apE0 Does anyone have a version with Mike singing it? [Edited 10/10/07 11:42am] Some people tell me I've got great legs...

"Behind The Mask" was orignally a Yellow Magic Orchestra tune by Chris J. Mosdell and Ryuichi Sakamoto (guitarist). It was on AUGUST, one of Clapton's 80s albums album that Phil Collins produced (might be him on drums). Greg Phillinganes was Clapton's keyboardist at the time. test

Michael's version remains unreleased although the new deluxe edition may have it "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."
