Thanks for the tip. I usually pop over there and see what's going in.
I freakin' love the new album. It surpassed my expectations. She's on tour now and I believe she's gonna be in Chicago in November. Hmmm, road trip. Not far for me. I'm in northern Indiana.
BTW, there's a thread about new album, if you wanna see what people think around here.

Just listened. Very cool. Way too short of course.
What was the name of the first tune she played?
Haven't heard this one.

I got it last night. I didn't get past "Lovely Lovely" because I was loving that groove so much.

It's very cool. It's only 11 plus minutes but worth every second.
I just wanna know what is the first jam that she plays?
I've never heard it but I like it.

Just listened to it on the way home in the dark ~ loud ~ no street lights, just a rural lakeshore road, me and MeShell. It was my third listen but by far the best. An amazing album. Multi layered and intense. Part of it sounds like if Tricky had been abducted by aliens, part reminds me of Oumou Sangare and there is plenty of trademark MeShell in all of her manifestations. I love it all ~ track 7. Shirk, is emotionally shredding ~ it's had me in tears on each listen.
