She's over 35. It's usually more difficult to get pregnant and they're considered high risk after 35. It seems more people in their 30's are having difficulty getting pregnant. 3 people in my department used invetro this year

I'm glad she is with child and pregnant because I don't think she is giving birth to a hit album anytime soon. While people seem to like her a little more than they used to, she is really trying to push the album and singles but I'm not sure it's working. I don't think "Do It Well" is setting the charts on fire (could be wrong) and while "Hold It, Don't Drop It" is a hit on the dance charts, not impacting the pop (not released as a digital single, so it can't). She is also trying the put the song in a commercial bit twice but for new shows...Ask Fiest...You want your song in a ad for IPOD (then again, that only seems to help out quirky rock/alt songs)! I wish her luck (even though I'm not a fan and never bought a disc but would gladly buy a hit sets when it becomes a available, which looks like sooner than later).

As for the IVF... every woman's body is different; some can get pregnant at 45 with no problem, other's might need a little assistance. Since Marc already has kids his end was probably just fine.

But seriously, it's even harder for a woman entertainer to have a baby, especially if she's a bit of a sex symbol. You get pregnant, you lose your shape. You have to take a certain amount of time off to give birth and raise the baby. Then, a younger, prettier, or more talented girl comes along and bumps you off.

So some women just keep touring or acting or working on their career until they are in their mid-thirties or early forties and realize..oh dammit, I'm gettin' a little long in the tooth to have a kid.

It's a scary thing. Once she has the baby, Jennifer may lose her figure. She may lose some momentum in her career. She may even lose her husband who will wanna get wit' someone who's not a "mom".

I truly wish them the best and hope everything turns out all right for them.May they be the boricua Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme. (That's how far back I had to go to remember a married couple in the music business that stayed together!)
