Say what you want about her and the song but it's hard to argue with a number three single. Granted, probably mostly super fans possibly buying more than one copy of it online to make sure it hits high, but you can't argue with results. Seems like radio wasn't all about it at first....Do they now have to change their tune or what and see what happens?

When Howard did the Top 5, where I first heard about the song hitting this high, Robin said "She's down two children, but has the number three song!" and Howard retorted with something like "She probably realizes that it's more important to have a number three song than those kids" (or it might have been "would rather have a hit song..."). it was funny. The AP of course picked it up....they picked it up when the song hit low on radio the first week.

Its ironic in a way, though not shocking in this media culture we have here in the USA, which, lets be honest, has never been this way to this extreme. The sad thing is that her label is probably holding on this album waiting for something BIG to release it to coincide with, i know that sounds cynical, but thats the business now, someone like Britney is a number, and if you think this is wrong, i saw yesterday in the GOLDMINE collapse in South Africa with 3200 people trapped a horrible tragic event, when reporting this, they cut away and said how is this gonna effect the world GOLD market, instead of, how the FUCK are you gonna get those people out!
