Terence Blanchard Quintet

I've been a fan of TB since I first heard his scores for Spike Lee's films. The man's ideas are crazy, haunting.

Lately, the local jazz station has been playing tunes from a TB quintet project. And, I can't find out whether it's the Katrina album ("A Tale of God's Will") or from another quintet project he's done. (Has he done another quintet project?)

I wish I had an answer but it's a good question. I'm gonna do some research. I love TB. One of my absolute favorite scores by him is from Gia but of course there's no disc available (that I know of).

I couldn't find anything on his site but it did remind me I need to pick up some more of his stuff...

Thanks, JB. I searched the site, Amazon, and my local jazz station before starting the thread.

I'll call someone at the station next week (and keep my ears peeled in the interim).

thumbs up! Thanks again.
