A bit of a PFunk spinoff as it was the product of vocalist (also guitarist) Glen Goines and brother Kevin Goinee. Also on hand was drummer Jerome Brailey. Both Glen and Jerome had just left George's band. Unfortunately, Glen passed away before the album was completed. His brother Kevin finished production. test

That's probably why they only did one album. I remember them barely. They were out around the time another obscure band called kwik was out. Kwik was good too. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I've been ranting about this album on many a thread. Nobody ever seemed to notice any of my posts about it.
I love this album Oh and, it's actually 'Glenn', not 'Glen' phunkdaddy, yea. They didn't really feel like continuing after Glenn passed away. It's kinda sad, he was only 23 (if I recall correctly). He was an incredible vocalist. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Yeah this was Quazar's only recording.
Glenn's vocals are so Spiritual, and that never changed in studio or on stage.

Now, I'm not a spiritual guy, I'm an atheist actually, but when Glenn sings, calls down the Mothership for example, that's a damn near spiritual experience for me. Rest in peace, Glenn. You were truly gifted. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I just saw it recently lying in a stack of cassettes and said to myself, damn I would love to have that on a CD. I mean, my only cassette deck is at friends so I couldn't listened to it even if I wanted to. It's a great album unknown to most. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

Believe itor not I bought it directly from Jerome Brailey. He had some trouble keeping his copyrights together and started illegally retailing his non PFunk works!! test

That's cool you got a copy from the source! CD quality.
Is Jerome still doing anything with current P-Funk line-up? Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

I can dig where ya' comin' from, I admit I had mixed emotions when I first heard this twenty + years ago; thinking it was lacking of "Tha' P". We lost a key part of the funk mob that would never return as a member of Parliament Funkadelic.. (which some members who left the mob @ some point and time returned) or as Glenn Goins and Quazar. It really never worked in the clubs where I dj'd. When me and the brutha's would get together and have a funk-A-thon with nuthin' but the funk mob and some good hemp it was always in the mix.

School me more, ya'll.
Was this a side-project? I get the feeling that it is(from some of the comments).

Was this a side-project? I get the feeling that it is(from some of the comments). Side-project? As in a P-Funk side-project? No. Glenn and Jerome Brailey quit George's P-Funk empire due to financial disagreements. They made this record on their own, with no contribution from George. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Sorry, I may have thrown you off when I said funk mob. I include anyone that has shined som' light on it once upon a time.. the whole funk mob, be it Mutiny, Quazar, Fuzzy & Eddie solo stuff, the other Funkadelic (lol) y'all know who I'm tawkin' 'bout. projects that George had nurthin' to do with. I can listen to Quazar and still feel something is missing. What and what if always pop up. I can listen to a song and get to a part of the song and say yeah' Glenn would have nailed it. Kevin finished this LP, who knows if Kevin deleted some vocals and re-recorded as needed, you hear a lot of Kevin vocals. Glenn's vocals are good and limited. Like FuNkeNsteiN said George was a non contributor on this Album.
