thumbs up!

do you have Lisa's last album, "the Moment"? it was a great album, but i can see where it wasn't a strong album.

Simply Red..i see new albums in stores before i even hear anything. LOL. but both Simply Red & Lisa; i buy their stuff on sight! i don't have to hear anything 1st. lol

Wish I did, I was always the last to know, lol. I checked her Wikipedia page a few years ago and didn't even know she'd put an album OUT! disbelief But I swear to God if she comes back, I'm buying it. nod

I was never too keen on Eternal as they were a bit too pop for my liking. I mean, I like pop, but not wishy-washy girly pop.

She was shit. Good riddance. The only high profile British R&B artist from the last 10 years who really had something was Kelly Le Roc. Unfortunately her one album was way too poppy, so I'd never listen to her, but she had a great voice and personality. Shola had neither.

That one was good because it was a cover version. The original was by Randy Crawford. It's hard to go wrong with a song that good.

Randy Crawford drool this was a good album though

Yeah, I was the one that mentioned her. Her management company had no clue how to handle her. They targeted her at the kiddie-pop audience when really they should have played to her strengths and made a soul record. Sadly, when her album under-performed she was never given a second chance. Her great talent obviously counted for nothing.

Let me add that that album cover was a travesty. They probably lost a lot of buyers with that alone.
