Felix Da Housecat Virgo Blaktro And The Movie Disco

New album from Felix Da Housecat. Most of the songs are short snappy synth funky numbers. Again it has a very 1980's vibe to it and seems to be very Daft Punk influenced, as he states in the album notes, along with Prince And The Revolution amongst others. Produced by DallasAustin.

Monkey Cage borrows the lyric from America and The Future Calls The Dawn has a Vocal interlude which sounds like he's been listening to The Dance Electric."Welcome Children, The Future Calls, The Dawn, The Dawn, The Dawn, The Dawn.

After 1 listen first impressions are very good.

you know i so desperately want to like/buy this album but i heard some samples and it just sounds like imitation 80's music. i want the real deal damn it! like The System!! my new favorite duo. who knows maybe i'll break down and get it. by the way, i heard they are calling this kind of music "Blaktro", artists like midnigt star, afrika bambaata, the system, etc...
