O'Jays - Brandy http://www.youtube.com/wa...J4uQInK4bU
While surfing, I found this performance of one of my favorite O'Jays trax. This song means something totally different 2 me and always makes me well up. (PS, I'm not thinking about the dog in the song either). **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Great song.
I'm not even gonna think it's about a dog either. But funny story, I was watching Comic View back in the day and a guy was reenacting a scene where he was singing this song to his girlfriend, well when he came up to the chorus: "I kinda miss you, Brandy", she hung up and he said "Hello?"

My mom LOVES the O'Jays but can't stand this song "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

The O'Jays are great
Dig the cut. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Great song. I have one of their greatest hits collections and surprisingly, this song is not on it. I recently saw the album this song was on in a local store. I guess I might go back and get it. Andy is a four letter word.

"Brandy" can be found on their 1978 album 'So Full Of Love' All of their 70s albums are superb, and this one is no exception. You already know the major hit single "Use Ta Be My Girl",but there are many other highlights to be found here."Cry Together" just might be my favorite slowjam by them. That song is so dramatic and soulful! I know you like uptempo jams,so you won't be disappointed by the catchy disco number "This Time Baby" and the take-no-prisoners funk track that closes the album: "Strokety Stroke".And oh yeah....there's "Brandy",the heartbreaking gem that we're supposed to be discussing, lol.Seriously, this is one OJays album that you need to add to your collection. It's probably my second favorite Ojays album, after 'Family Reunion',but ranking their 70s albums is extremely difficult because every album is a masterpiece.
