what the HELL is going on with that new album?


i mean, i LIKE it...i THINK...but it's like ol' peej spent a month at that hotel in 'the shining' or something and the new album is the result. it creeps me the hell out, even though it may be the prettiest music she's ever made. it weirds me out, man.

I briefly listened to it, but not enough to process it. I kept getting an Air's "Virgin Suicides" minus the electronic vibe, meets Joanna Newsom meets Stevie Nicks. I think someone here mentioned Joanna Newsom before. "When Under Ether" sounds like it could've gone on "Is This Desire". I have to listen more, but that was the initial feel I got from it.

Is the actual CD in stores??

Hehehe@Sexton. I mist admit, I am being cheaty. I miss the days I used to work in the record store and got promo's.

Anyways, I love the album. It is hauntingly beautiful and as I never follwed the Newsom bandwagon I cannot make the comparison.

To me it is just a very good PJ album. Like I said, I love the artists that do not get stuck on the same album (Rolling Stones) and re-inventthemselves every now and then (Prince in the 80's).

I wouldn't lick her legs...
