Very true which is why i said months ago everyone in all decades and times has been the IT person. From Elvis,the Beatles,James,Elton,Stevie,Madonna,Bruce,Prince,Mariah etc.... everyone has those years where they are it, Alicia to me wouldnt fall into that category, not a slight to her, its just that there are very few people that it happens to. I didn't attend that concert, however I went to The Beyonce Experience and I really don't think that there are too many people that can top her stage presence. There was something lacking during the concert that I could never quite put my finger on, but she puts on a show. I'm sure she has improved since you've seen her. The only thing I really found wrong with Beyonce's performance, was the over the top dance routines that left her gasping for air, she came off "sloppy",during the songs with a faster tempo. When she slowed down and just sang, it was then when you could finally see what all the fuss is about. That kind of quality in a live performance only comes with a lot of grooming and practice, I'm sure she's a different creature on stage now. That being said, it's just wasn't a good idea at that point in Beyonce's career to follow Alica on stage. | |

I wouldn't compare either of these ladies!
They are both beautiful, they are talented, humble and successful just enjoy the good music that we do have while it lasts and be happy 4 them I am!  surviving on the thought of loving you, it's just like the water

I don't think Alicia Keys is anywhere near as pretty as Beyonce but that's just me.
I think that anyone in showbiz that is trying to actually sell any albums or movie tickets or whatever is a media whore. That is part of the job. I used to hate Alicia Keys when her first record was released. I thought she was a mess. But she is really a pretty decent songwriter/musician. I hated Beyonce/Destinys Child too. I thought they were a mess. But Beyonce is talented too, just in a different way, dancing/singing. | |
