Makeup and lighting can go a long way. The wigs don't hurt either.

portland, oakland, santa barbara, anaheim, and san diego are in the bag. though we don't yet have acceptable tickets, we're 100% definitely going to the 2nd oakland show and LA, and we're probably going to seattle. we're still trying to decide of philly is in the picture but that's coming up real soon so... and you? and you? Shit! You put me to shame. I had a lot of trouble with the presales and the vip stuff. But I got front 10 rows for Detroit, Chicago and Toronto. Considering Buffalo and maybe a few others. I need to see all 4 girls. Did you get any of the platinum tix?

[Edited 10/2/07 1:45am] i think so. she's done it a few times already, i don't see why she would forget all about it once she's in the states.

I'm very happy to hear that, esp. knowing how fanatic of her you are, but i got to admit though i was also kind of surprised to hear you say so. i guess it has to do with how the Beekeeper era almost had her fanbase divided, due to it's different sound, as it was mostly put. code red could go down as one of my favorite tori rock tracks ever!
hell to the yes. Girl Disappearing would be another piece work with those KILLER strings it's got hauntingly flowing all the way through it.

i loved beekeeper, too. it was a mature album with a mature theme. to me, music is a time and place sort of thing. there's a time and place to be angry and frustrated and urgent, and there's a time and place to be thoughtful, reflective, and realistic. beekeeper was the latter and i think it was filled with great sentiment and emotion. american doll posse hits that raw nerve because we've all just had enough. its a perfect testament to the times we are in.

All you Toriphiles kinda make me wish I was more into her music, but I've never evn heard one of her songs If you will, so will I

I still love The Beekeeper too. I can see it more for what it is rather than, OMG THERE'S A NEW TORI RECORD OUT! But yes, I think it's holding up well.
