That would NOT stop me from being silly and having an attachment to a piece of my childhood. if you have a husband.. your house cannot look like that... unless its your personal room or husband agrees to it.. and how many husbands and wives have their own bedrooms????? Im not saying that she can't keep the pics... but those pink couches and stuffed animals on her furniture would have to go.. if she gets married... what man wants a house like that.... ????? |

When I was younger, in my first marriage we could afford a really really big living space. I mean in general, the then hubby left all the decorating up to me and honestly, alot of the last house was done in "French Provencial" style, some areas more stripped down aesthetically. But I'll be damned if i didn't actually have a personal room and it was a cross between being a guestroom and a personal library. He HATED the aesthetic of that room but all the guests and girlies LOVED it. When we would have big parties I used to always have after dinner sessions there banning the men: all the women would gather in there and we would CUT up...eating loads of chocolate and nipping at my er, um SMALL liquor cabinet...
