That's a severe understatement. Both of those songs resulted in Lionel Richie and Billy Ocean's ghetto passes being revoked. StarMon said: I dig, Mystery Lady Love Zone Nights (Feel Like Getting Down) I agree, those are the three Billy Ocean songs I liked. Naturally, the first two songs were lesser crossover songs during his run and "Nights (Feel Like Getting Down)" did not cross over. That picture was posted some six months in a "Guess who?"-type thread (I was the one who knew who it is). Keep in mind that Billy Ocean is 57, according to his birthdate. No. But you seem to be the only one who likes ALL of Billy Ocean's music. Those are two different things. Najee said: Billy Ocean was one of the biggest examples of mid- to late 80s crossover-oriented stuff that made me vomit (basically a male Whitney Houston). However, that made my favorite song from him -- "Love Zone," with its groovy bassline and was produced by Barry Eastmond -- all the more surprising because it wasn't geared for the crossover audience.
WORD!!!!! LOVE ZONE IS MY FAVORITE!!!!! THE GROOVE IS IRRESISTIBLE!!!!!

No. But you seem to be the only one who likes ALL of Billy Ocean's music. Those are two different things. My love of musical cheese (especially from the '80s) is well documented, so it should come as no surprise that I also enjoy all of Billy Ocean's hits. I'm happy to be the first to mention "Tear Down These Walls." "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I liked billy ocean too but i'll admit around 1984 his sound was popsidized.
I love love zone and even some of his so called cheesier tracks like when the going gets touch and get outa my dreams. I like suddenly. The one billy ocean song i detest is that loverboy. That one is just annoying. Damn billy done aged on us a little. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
