Shakespears Sister - Stay

Remember this 1992 track. So bittersweet, Marcella Detroit sounds amazing.
Even with Siobhan Fahey faux witch voice sounds nice and the video so very beautiful. Siobhan was actually drunk while making the video.

I know they havent spoken since they broke up in 1993 but i wish they get back once more just to perform this track. sad

Siobhan was the real driving force behind Shakespear's Sister. Marcella was only a member that joined later.

Thank god siobhan got rid of screaming marcy!

I love this song! I guess mostly for nostalgic reasons (ahh grade 6).

MikeMatronik will tell you this isn't their best song, and probably would laugh that would wanted them to reunite to perform THIS particular number.

And will either one of them ever put out a decent solo album again in the near future? Marcella has an inconsistant track record for what sound she wants to go with, and Siobhan needs to get straight and get something out there period! (...None of this downloadable, join-my-fan-club-to-hear my music crap.) Her song with the Pussycat Dolls could have so easily been HER solo song! A reunion between the two would be great -- as they are by far one the the biggest underrated acts ever!

(And now, I hear Bananarama could technically qualify for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Too bad Shakepear's Sister will never!)

I love "Stay"!

Siobhan sounds very Stevie Nicks-ish when she sings "you better hope and pray...." LOL
