AWFUL,AWFUL EPISODE!
Nearly every song they played was an over-produced,synth heavy,drum-machined piece of late 80s crap This episode reminds me of why I despise that period. Most of those songs now sound horribly dated. Chico DeBarge's performance sucked.Rose Royce was okay, but their material wasn't very impressive. Come on Don....go back to the 70s or at least the early 80s!

If you read the rumor mill, it'd been debut by now. In other words, I don't feel it's making a comeback anytime soon. And it's good but go back to the 1970s, Don.

What was up with the dude in the costume??...Was it just me or did the lead singer in Rose Royce look a lot like Tichina Arnold from "Martin"?
I will admit that I like looking back at the "80's ladies"..they used to really vamp it up back then (spandex, heels, leotards, lace).

Once again, another typical late 80s episode. The only good thing about it was Chico DeBarge and the line dance when they played Jesse Johnson. Other than that, the rest of the episode was horrible. The choice of songs played was horrible. Rose Royce's performance sounded like some adult contemporary Shitney Houston type stuff. Bruce Willis's song had no place on "Soul Train".
Once again, get the hell out of the late 80s. Go back to showing the episodes when the show was actually "Soul Train" and not a wannabe "American Bandstand". With all these late 80s episodes airing lately, I'm glad some other people are starting to realize what I have been saying for years....."Late 80s, horrible years.....HORRIBLE years". The late 80s was the beginning of the end of good music. . . [Edited 9/30/07 7:17am] Andy is a four letter word.

That was one of the few good moments of this episode and probably the only reason I saved my recording of this episode. I usually don't like the way she dances because she usually looks a little stiff. Her dancing had really improved when she came down that line with those two guys. She was actually getting off. Don't you worry, they will be going back to the 70's in a couple of weeks. I just saw that after next weekends episode, the next one will feature Sylvia, Ecstasy Passion and Pain from 1974. Glad to see the 70's are coming back!

Are u sure it wasn't HIGH! He looked spaced out to me. He probably was nervous because it was one of his early performances on television. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
