Help me find this song!

Hey Orgheads, help a brotha out. I have this song in my head that I've been singing for weeks but I don't know the artist its from. It is an early eighties R&B song, mid tempo style with an acoustic guitar by a male singer. The main part I know for sure is the bridge verse that goes like this:

You know there's a warm place
waiting for you, in my heart.
You know that I've always played
by the rules, from the very start.
As We go from day to day, I just
want to say, my love is here to stay.
No one can take that away.

I believe the title of the song is " Best of My Love ". Do you know it?

Thanks folks.

The song is "The Best of My Love" by the group T-Connection. You can find it on this compilation, "The Best of T-Connection: Everything's Still Cool."

Right on Najee, I like that track. What other songs have they done? I'll have to check their collection out.

T-Connection was a group from the Bahamas that moved to Miami in the latter 70s. Other songs you want to check are "Do What You Wanna Do," "At Midnight," "On Fire" and arguably my favorite, "Everything Is Cool."
