I like him! He is a blowhard but that makes him interesting, it's not like I have to deal with his crazy personality on the daily, I just listen to his songs. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

THat's the thing. The album traks get alot more personal. The Roots and stuff are ok..but they should stop trying so hard to be different. The harder they try the harder they fall away from ears. Just like Common's Electric Circus..in which I thought was a good album...I couldnt convince my brother to listen to it. So why should record companies waste more money making an album than the sales themselves. Common smarted up and hooked up with Kanye wto make him more recognized...now he doing commercials and people are all of a sudden interested in him again....and is he pop? He's okay, and I like that his subject matter is different than most artists these days, but you'd think from his attitude that he's walking on water or something.
And his expectations with regards to winning awards tells me he's kind of an idiot. Who expects MTV to give awards to the BEST music? Even the Grammys doesn't always give the award to the best. Get over yourself Kanye! My Legacy
