I think her voice is amazing. I thought the choice of material and arrangements didnt showcase her true talent.

I thought it was good! In fact, I was spinning this disc on Sunday and I was so relaxed by the warm arrangements and Queen's soulful, jazzy, and pensive vocals. It's interesting to hear an artist do something different for a change. But I'm not interested in buying her new one, tho!

Another thing that struck me when watching "Hairspray" was her appearance... Queen Latifah is a really beautiful looking woman

I think it was a great cd for the purpose it served. To show folks that didn't know, that she can really sing and has a beautiful voice.

Personally, I thought it was safe and a bit too middle of the road for my tastes but then again, I already knew she could sing. shrug

I do love her version of "California Dreaming" though , it made it's way to my mp3 player. cool

nod I met her in highschool. She's tall, regal, very personable and her look is effortlessly FLAWLESS. That woman really is a class act.

it is a good attempt for a rapper who sings and does remakes. it makes me think back on those singers like pearl baily, etta, billie holliday, genre-wise. she is doing another one soon. She is underrated for her vocals and doing something other than what is out there

She seems really nice, i want to meet her too biggrin

I guess part of what makes her so beautiful is her confidence...
