Yo pill! (Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson - Bridges) Thanks for hippin' me to this album
I got it yesterday and I've listened to it three times thru thus far. Damn, this album is incredible Thanks, pill!  [Edited 9/27/07 7:59am] It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

 Slammin' album--One of Heron's best!!! We Almost Lost Detroit, Race Track In France, Under The Hammer, Hello Sunday, Hello Road--the whole album is smokin!! I also love the fact that he and Brian make full use of Cecil and Margouleff and their T.O.N.T.O. synthesizer bank--I believe Stevie Wonder had stopped using them by this time....

But back to Bridges Song Of The Wind is my favorite tune on there. Very profound ...A song actually about the wind.

I agree with you 100% Other than 'Bridges', I only have 'Free Will'. I was thinking about gettin' some more of his albums. I've heard Winter In America is pretty good, whatcha think? Winter In America is an excellent album..
It includes The Bottle Rivers Of My Father is another great tune. And do get First Minute Of A New Day | |
