What is the opinion of the Org on Celine Dion?

To be honest I dislike her music. What do orgers think about her music?

I think she has a great voice and from the interviews i've seen of her, she seems very nice. I like her but can't say i'm a big fan of her music because I find it to be kind of cheesy. I will however admit to liking "Because You Loved Me", "The Power Of Love" and the Theme From Beauty and The Beast . All great songs IMO.

I think she is wonderful. The best vocalist.

I have seen her three times live, once in Australia (1997) and twice in Las Vegas (2006), and hope to see her again. Awesome performer.

Celine's new album, "Taking Chances", comes out in November. Can't wait.

i like her when she gets a little bit too unhinged in interviews or decides she's going to do a concert dressed like michael jackson or something. typically i find her to be utterly jejune and dreary, but sometimes her mental illness shines through and i have to like her just a little.

i've only seen her once. earlier on before she became a a mega-star. lol.
however i did get to meet her and get a couple autographs and pics with her. she's one of my favourite singers ever. pretty much flawless vocals. my opinion? she fucking amazing. and a beautiful person. i believe she's one of those artist that a lot of people don't want to admit liking but know every word to at least 3 of her songs. that "i'm too cool to listen to Celine Dion" attitude get the fuck out of here with that shit. people are always talking about wanting "real singers" and such then turn around and say she's this and that. yeah ok.

i really wanted to see her in Vegas but just can't afford to. hopefully some kind of full length dvd will be released for it. i wasn't too impressed with her last French album though. it was just ok. i've heard that her new song is really different for her and really good too. someone told me they didn't even realize it was Celine until the dj announced it. i can't wait for the new album.

I think "Because You Loved Me" is a cool song. While she has a fantastic voice, her material is too over the top for me. Her interpretation of the Meatloaf song for example.

And I used to love the Titanic song when it first came out.

I like her as a person though. I saw her on LARRY KING LIVE during the Katrina disaster, and found her to be over the top but heartfelt and sincere at the same time.

one of the things i love about her is that she's the 1st person to make fun of herself, her image, and her songs. her charity work is inspirational, at least.

I used to really like Celine before the Vegas stint. I have about 3 of her albums. I don’t dislike her, I just haven’t gotten into anything she’s done lately but I think she has a beautiful voice and gets ragged on way too much.

Celine has a beautiful voice, but I'm not much of a fan.

i would have to be on some strong hallucinogenic or at least smoke some cocoa puffs to hear anything remotely interesting in her recordings

Whitney houston at her peak in music.. and before bobby and crack... had the best voice... but I would say Celine Dion consistantly has the best voice of all time... AND... people who have worked with Celine have said many times they do not have to touch up her voice in the studio... and they have worked with several other Divas...
