K.D Lang - "Miss Chatelaine"

Anyone else know this song from her "Ingenue" album?

I especially love the video to this song- goes against her image completely!
I love K.D. Lang- got all her albums as her voice is mind blowing!

I haven`t seen the video yet, hopefully i`ll find it somewhere...

I only have this album and "Shadowland". I`m very curious about "Drag" though...

This is actually one of my least favorite songs on Ingenue... which ain't necessarily a slight, because that entire album is extraordinary!

But I've always thought it sounds like she's saying "Michel'le."

My personal favorites on INGENUE are "Save Me" and "Outside Myself."

Oooh, I love this song! She has an awesome voice. I bought the album just for the song but the whole disc is pretty good too.

absolutely. call me a sqaure but i reeeeally like the ballads on this album. if you ever thought that you were experienceing an iota of "in-loveness" with somebody else, if you listen to her ballads here it will remove all doubt. you might feel different about that sonufagun a month later, but in the throes of the experience and listening to THIS record whofarted you WILL think you are in love like a mofo... falloff

that cut she did from the the soundtrack of "even cowgirls..." called "hush sweet lover hush" is hot too nod

lol Now I'm gonna have to Ingenue when I get home. I haven't listened to it in awhile. I have Even Cowgirls on cassette...think I need to upgrade that. Both albums I really enjoyed. She has such a lovely voice there isn't much by her that I don't like.

Agreed. biggrin

I really like this album, especially 'Chatelaine' and 'Save Me'.

KD does romantic longing like few others can. smile

I must get this on CD, as my tape is real old now.

....go back and listen to "Save Me" and "Wash Me Clean", while closing your eyes REAL REAL hard. Then curse the bastard that you ever felt the strongest (real or unrequited) love for...hopefully that'll pull up some in-loveness feelin' for ya
