This is actually one of my least favorite songs on Ingenue... which ain't necessarily a slight, because that entire album is extraordinary!
But I've always thought it sounds like she's saying "Michel'le."

actually, i kinda don't like this song....but i love the rest of the album and her catalog. she is one of the all time best vocalist. Space for sale... | |

I have Even Cowgirls on cassette...think I need to upgrade that. Both albums I really enjoyed. I really like this album, especially 'Chatelaine' and 'Save Me'. KD does romantic longing like few others can.
