He doesnt look anywhere near as good as the 70's and 80's but he has had some decent plastic surgery (for once) in the last year or so, he's looking far far far better than the god awful period of 1999 to 2005 (Invincible era was awful). He still needs to lay off so much make-up and lipstick and show us his REAL hair, bring back the curls! The two biggest mistakes Michael made with plastic surgery are getting that cleft in his chin and widening his eyes, apart from that I dont think he looks that bad at all at the moment. Can anybody explain to me why he went REALLY crazy with the surgery during 1999-22001? Because in those 3 years I saw a huge change in the way he looked, bigger that previously. MJ fans, you really need to ignore the haters and such like. I hope Michael can come back and prove many people wrong, the music and entertainment business is crying out for Michael Jackson at the moment. Im not too sure about the widening of his eyes. if that's possible! its the first time im talking about his face as i never have before so forgive me. I do agree i didnt like what he did in 1999 in what my opinion was a facelift. But it took time to settle down, he made that decision for the long run. His judgment on plastic surgery just like many people's decsions can be clouded and unpredictable and there are just hundreds of celebritys that have done this, even Madonna has had a face lift recently, i think, it was inevitable for MJ. In 2004 when MJ was going to court i thought he was looking much better and now in 2007 he is looking good again. . As for saying you hate seeing pictures of MJ nowadays have a thought for unfortunate people like Jocelyn Wildenstein. Shes the lady that wants to look like a cat right??

I thought he looked good during the trial too, but as for him widening his eyes-I just don't buy that lol. I've never heard that one before. His eyes have always looked like that ever since he was a child: If there is one thing about his physical appearence that has remained the same, it's that. I don't think he's had anything done to his eyes. [Edited 9/23/07 22:22pm] "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

The new pictures look great. The wig he is wearing in this photo shoot is shorter than he has been wearing, but he still needs to go shorter. In 1995 and some of 96 he had great hair. Think the TDCAU video, the 95 VMA's performance and to some extent the Earth Song video (getting a bit long by this point). It was short, a little messy, it made him look more normal. He kind of brought that hair back for the 30th anniversary concert, but not really. I'd like to see him with hair that short again. It suits him more than this long jet-black straightened BS he's wearing.

maybe its about time people stop judging mike and complaining about how he looks compared to ( insert decade here) all im sayin is yea we know mike over did the surgery and whatever circumstances brought along the changes. but aint no use bitching about it, cuz it won't go back to where it use to be. I should not be made to feel bad for saying mike looks great- or have to include a disclaimer. i know mike is and always will be a black man. but mike is mike, i love and accept him for who he is, and what he's done. and i move on. this isn't coming from a delusional fan either. peace "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."

Michael looks better here than he has done for ages, but quite frankly Michael cross the line during the late Thriller/Bad era. The surgery should have started and stopped with one nose job, during the Off The Wall era and it should have never gone beyond the Thriller era. Once we got into the Bad era, anyone with eyes knew it would be all the way downhill from there.

Everytime a new pic of Michael comes out, it's the same old shit of people saying he shouldn't have surgery or he should've stopped after Thriller. No matter how many new photos of him come out, you are still going to think the same thing, so just get over it already. Accept that that's how he looks now, and move on. He looks different, sure. But he still looks good. I really like how he looks in these photos.
People like to think they don't judge people by appearances, but Michael Jackson is the best example of just how judgemental people still are. Because it's become okay to judge Michael Jackson's appearance, people use him as outlet for all their built up judgemental remarks that they aren't allowed to say to other people without being politically incorrect. It's sad, but it's true. People who have racist thoughts hold it in until they can unleash all their racism on Michael Jackson without it looking bad on them. It's terrible. It just shows that the world is still very discriminatory.

I was born after Bad was released; this is the Michael Jackson I am used to seeing. Like you I am saddened by what he has done to his face, but I take pictures of him in relation to what he looked like from 1999 to 2005 -- his worst years. [Edited 9/23/07 13:19pm] How are Michael and all of the brothers sexist? Michael, Tito, and Marlon are not sexist IMO. Jermaine, Jackie, and Randy are dogs, though I was born November 1987 so I'm also used to the way he looks and this is the best he's looked since 1999. Ironic, back when I was really young, I knew the guy on the cover of Off the Wall and Thriller was the same guy on the cover of Bad and Moonwalker. For the longest time i have been trying to figure out what happened after 1998. MJ's complexion is the exact same as 1996 and 1997,but his features changed a lot. I don't know exactly what he did,but his overall look just changed. I think he looks so much better now though + Same here!! I was born October 1988. I knew the man from the Rock With you video dressed as a disco ball was the same man in the Billie Jean video lighting up the sidewalk, who was the same man screaming his head off in a train station. I knew all these men were once a little boy from a group with his brothers the Jackson 5. Its funny how I never questioned his appearance. Of course then it wasn't as drastic, but it tickles me when you're that young you don't pay attention to things. Like when me and my sister/auntie were watching the premieres of 'Black or White' and 'Remember the Time' for example, I never thought why -- it actually never even crossed my mind -- why he was paler then ever before. I knew it was still Michael Jackson. I wonder, if only I was older at the time, how it must of felt to see this sort of thing going on. (Especially when the internet was pretty much a non entity to yap about). I can only imagine... "Er...does Michael look...lighter to you?" Like someone said, I'm still trying to figure out what happened from 97 to 2001. His cheeks are sunken in, the cleft looks horrible as ever, his eyes are ..interesting, so on and so forth. My only guess is, once you have that much plastic surgery in your youth, it catches up to you as you age. But if theres any I'm concerned more about than his appearance is his health. Lets face it, its getting hard to breath through that nose. He's been sounding nasally every time he makes a speech (BET 03 James Brown LTA, James Brown funeral, World Music Awards). Rodya, when you said 60s and 70s, why'd you leave out 80s? 80s Michael was just 70s Michael with a jheri curl. I hope Michael can come back and prove many people wrong, the music and entertainment business is crying out for Michael Jackson at the moment. Yea, I have no idea how that happened. The last time he looked decent was 1996-97 ish. After that, he went so completely M.I.A. it was ridiculous. We never saw nothing. He was gone. All of a sudden he comes back in 2001 and he looks like one of the Whoo people from Dr. Suess' "Why the Grinch stole Christmas". During that whole era he looked dead. He was slow walking, his hair was a mess; looked like her never put a comb through it. He looked like he had a cold/flu all the time, etc. It was like what Jamie Foxx said "..its like all of a sudden he got old. Did you see him on MTV? Barely can moonwalk, what was there gum on the floor? That ain't Michael man, that has to be some puppet or something," Eddie Griffin was saying the same thing in his stand up. I honestly don't think MJ was ready to come back in 2001. Everything was half assed. And if the You Rock My World video wasn't a rehash recycled MJ video if I ever did see one...to say a disappointment would be an understatement. BabyBeMine said: I like the pics and its the best he has looked in years, but i still think he can look better
Lay off the lipstick and sport the slick back hair with a pony tail and then MJ would be stylin Sorry to say, but if he had his pony tail slicked back again, he will not look like he did in 1992. Just look at the Remember the Time video. He had more or less the same hairstyle that hes rocking now (sans lacefront) and he was by far much better looking then (thats a given).
