I hate seeing pictures of MJ nowadays, they just make me feel really sad at what promblems he must of had with himself to make such huge differences to his appearence. sad Poor guy, I generally feel sorry for him.

He doesnt look anywhere near as good as the 70's and 80's but he has had some decent plastic surgery (for once) in the last year or so, he's looking far far far better than the god awful period of 1999 to 2005 (Invincible era was awful).

He still needs to lay off so much make-up and lipstick and show us his REAL hair, bring back the curls!

The two biggest mistakes Michael made with plastic surgery are getting that cleft in his chin and widening his eyes, apart from that I dont think he looks that bad at all at the moment.

Can anybody explain to me why he went REALLY crazy with the surgery during 1999-22001? Because in those 3 years I saw a huge change in the way he looked, bigger that previously.

MJ fans, you really need to ignore the haters and such like.

I hope Michael can come back and prove many people wrong, the music and entertainment business is crying out for Michael Jackson at the moment.

InsatiableCream is nice; he makes a lot of apt observations. I do not think he posted in this thread for the purpose of being a "hater." Can be irritating as hell -- but irritating because he speaks the truth.

I have also wondered why he went crazy with the plastic surgery during the 1999-2005 period. I think he was on drugs. Perhaps the divorce from his second wife, Debbie Rowe, and the final breakup with Lisa Marie Presley, pushed him over the edge. I am not sure. This is all speculation.

I think he was rather happy to get away from Debbie actually lol. As for Lisa Marie, that had been over with for years so I don't really think that had anything to do with it, but yeah I don't know if he was on drugs or what, but something was defenitely up with him during "Invincible" era. I remember seeing the video for "You rock my world" and thinking "Wth happened"? I mean I think even he knew he looked terrible then. It seemed like it was painful for him to even smile. He just looked tired all the time and seemed to be completely out of it.

For the longest time i have been trying to figure out what happened after 1998. MJ's complexion is the exact same as 1996 and 1997,but his features changed a lot. I don't know exactly what he did,but his overall look just changed.

I think he looks so much better now though

Well because sometimes I feel the need to call them out on their foolishness. It's all good though, esp. today because Mike looks AWESOME. I so look forward to seeing more pictures and hope I'll be able to get a copy of the mag.

Why? I think being able to mutilate one's self is part of the beauty of this society. If he is happy with his looks then what the f*ck do I care?

Like I said in the other thread about the Vogue photo shoot, it is his face and he has the right to mutilate it. But Michael Jackson has never expressed happiness with how he looks pre or post the numerous plastic surgeries.

Why get upset with what I wrote? sad

Im not too sure about the widening of his eyes. eek if that's possible! its the first time im talking about his face as i never have before so forgive me. I do agree i didnt like what he did in 2001 in what my opinion was a facelift. But it took time to settle down, he made that decision for the long run. His judgment on plastic surgery just like many people's decsions can be clouded and unpredictable and there are just hundreds of celebritys that have done this, even Madonna has had a face lift recently, i think, it was inevitable for MJ. In 2004 when MJ was going to court i thought he was looking much better and now in 2007 he is looking good again. biggrin. As for saying you hate seeing pictures of MJ nowadays have a thought for unfortunate people like Jocelyn Wildenstein.

How are Michael and all of the brothers sexist? Michael, Tito, and Marlon are not sexist IMO. Jermaine, Jackie, and Randy are dogs, though lol

I was born November 1987 so I'm also used to the way he looks and this is the best he's looked since 1999. Ironic, back when I was really young, I knew the guy on the cover of Off the Wall and Thriller was the same guy on the cover of Bad and Moonwalker.

Like you said Jermaine, Jackie, and Randy are quite notorious for their womanizing and rumored abuse of their spouses and girlfriends. As for Marlon and Tito, I should not have included them in my rant against the Jackson brothers and sexism. In fact I like Marlon.

As for Michael, I am just going to write "Dangerous."

I was born sometime after you, so am also used to the way he looks. And I agree. This is the best he has looked since the HIStory era and in particular the awful period between 1999 and 2005.

1999 wasn't bad at all. The TV Guide photoshoot he did was cool. he was wearing barely any makeup and actually looked his best since '89.
