Doalwa

Count me in, David Bowie is a god among musicians cool

He's one of the few artists I haven't yet had the chance to see live...I really hope he'll get back on the road soon!

Yup - it's a cool little album. Definitely the first steps of Bowie's creative resurgence in the 90's. Don't get me wrong - I love his 80's output; for all the wrong reasons lol - but it's got so many great tracks: You've Been Around, Jump They Say, Nite Flights, to name a few. It's excellent, but my absolute favourite has to be 'Scary Monsters' - wondrous. worship

I love Bowie, just not as much I love Marc Bolan or Prince.

My favourite Bowie album at the moment is Hunky Dory,

I firmly believe he and DB were deeply and madly in love. nod

I firmly believe David Bowie and Marc Bolan loved each other like brothers and nothing more than that.

Prince has some of the same style of Marc Bolan's in his rock music and the way the clothes he wears.

hmmm, I like your theory! biggrin

Actually, Bolan once said in an interview that he loves Bowie and would sleep with him if they weren't both men.

Given the right moment I think he would've in spite of that fact.

And in my world, they did. horny

Love every album from Hunky Dory through to Heroes.

Not overly keen on Lodger, but it has it's moments and Scary Monsters and Let's Dance are both pretty damn good. The Only recent album I have is Heathen, which I was disappointed in and only listened to a handful of times.

Also White noise Black Tie isn't bad.

Comparable to Prince run of Dirty Mind to Lovesexy.

Top pick for me would be Station To Station.
