I'm a fan of the older stuff. In fact, I've been listening to Off the Wall constantly these past couple of days. But his new stuff is nothing to write home about. I think he should just retire.

Michael Jackson is One of My All-Time Favorite Artists.I prefer the Older stuff better overall more but the Cat still has it.but I don't know how much He wants to challenge Himself anymore? but MJ will Always Be Alright with Me.

I still think Off the Wall is his best album
but i'm also of the opinion that all his albums since are cool too. Michael's okay with me and until someone tops Thriller (doubtful, certainly in my lifetime anyway) he will remain the King of Pop.

That was in the making a year ago.Sony have canned MJ, or haven't you been keeping up with events.MJ and Sony have no working relationship. At the moment he's stuffed.

BTW i am still a fan, some of Unbreakable was great, some not so great.

Michael is on the slide and has been ever since the Bad tour (the last time he performed properly with no lip-synching) I saw the Dangerous and History tours too, he just mimes all the time now (except for the J5 medley).Very disappointing.

Thecherryloon...album "INVINCIBLE" not unbreakable, have i not been following events??...uh OF COURSE! i follow this guy around the world, as for mj lip synching it is impossible for the guy to dance his a$$ off for two hours and sing @ the same time...just try it!!! anyway he has nothing to prove with his voice it is beautiful, unmistakeable and UNIQUE.

as i said he did it in '88 with no problem for 7 nights at Wembley Stadium.

now he can't seem to perform at all without the aid of a backing track even for 5 minutes!(look at the superbowl halftime show, MTV awards show a few years back).

go on, tell me i'm wrong!

Don't worry, even HUGE MJ fans such as myself are dogged out at his lack of live performances over the last 10 years. I dunno, I think he tired out his voice through all that constant touring back in the day. Something's not right, that's for sure.

At MSG last year he wasn't fully healthy, so who knows? MJ once said that he'd stop dancing the minute he could no longer do it. I really don't know, but the time may be coming. He's still got the energy (just look at him on his visit to London last June), but if it gets in the way of live singing then he can FORGET IT. Such a shame, because his voice is phenomenal when in top form. Anyone remember him singing all those adlibs without a microphone at the 1996 World Music Awards?

Since having children he's changed a hell of alot,he's not as shy thats for sure! he's become more of a confident person...the things ive heard him say!!! he's not the shy young guy from the BAD era anymore, his children have made him view things differently.

i was a huge fan of mike some time ago and with every new musical project he started he said "just wait, the best is yet to come". i bought it a couple of times, but no more. dude has become trapped in his own routines, on stage and off stage. the magic is gone. for those of you who still see it in him, good for you..
don't need no reefer, don't need cocaine
purple music does the same to my brain
i'm high, so high
