Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip I dug the show, but I've long been a sucker for Aaron Sorkin's spitfire-delivery vehicles, from Sports Night to the West Wing to this show.
I look back on that doomed show and love the musical moments it brought to the small screen. This first clip features Snuffy Waldren's arrangement of "O Holy Night," which kicks my tail every time I hear it. They featured Sting when he was promoting his period/unplugged CD, too. I love the way both scenes managed to work in romantic interludes with both pieces (I think they did it to foil pirates, actually). But I'm a big ol' softy that way. Aaron, not Alan edit... I really liked that show, I wish it could have hung on for a second season. Music, schmoozik - DL Hughley needs a job! | |
