A little music quiz for y'all

Try not to Google anything and don't read the other answers (... if there are any lol) before posting. Ok, here we go:

1. Michael Jackson released 'Off The Wall' in 1979. Another album called 'Off The Wall' was released a year earlier, but by which lesser known group?

2. One of Stanley Clarke's best known songs is 'School Days'. Which black soul artist has a song also titled 'School Days' (it is not the same song)?

3. Australia is not known for funk, but they did have some. What was Australia's first funk band? Hint: They only released one album. It was named after a Beatles cover they played. The album was released in 1975.

4. Name the guitarist who worked with Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band, but later joined a well-known funk/soul/r&b/disco group.

5. Glenn Goins worked with P-Funk for a couple of years, until financial disagreements lead to Goins quitting. Glenn and his brother Kevin formed their own band and started working on their debut album. Unfortunately Glenn passed away before the album was completed. His brother Kevin finished the album and it was released. The group was disbanded afterwards. What was the name of this group and the album, and what year was the album released?

6. 'Brass Construction', 'B.T. Express' & 'Skyy'. Name the person who was involved with all of the aforementioned groups.

Get to posting, y'all!

Anyways, thanks for participating. It's nice that some people actually take the time to read and reply. Like I said before, only topics about *certain* artists get replies 'round here, so I appreciate each and every reply even if you don't know the correct answers wink
