Forgotten 1981 Jam: "(She's Got To Be) A Dancer" by Jerry Knight

Here's a jam I never hear on the radio anymore. I've got the 45 around here somewhere in the stax of wax. Anybody remember this one?

He later teamed up with Ollie for "Breakin...There's No Stoppin Us" headbang They also did the theme song for the sequel (actually, their title song is the only good thing about the sequel, lol).

biggrin I was a big Jerry Knight fan!! he was originally the bassist and co-vocalist in Raydio, before he left in 1980 to do his solo thing. After these three albums, he teamed up with drummer Ollie Brown to form Ollie and Jerry, who had a hit with Breakin'(There's no Stoppin Us).....

Although the movie 'Breakin 2:Electric Boogaloo' sucks big time,I like the theme song ("Electric Boogaloo") by Ollie and Jerry lol

http://www.youtube.com/wa...z7g13R2EPo (a low-quality video with poor sound)

In fact, the theme song is the only good thing about the film. It's the only reason why I won't get rid of the DVD,lol.
