....i heard only few songs from his new album....all i can say...it's FUCKING GREAT....much much better than this 2 previous Album....for me the Best Black Artist since PRINCE.....SLY/STEVIE WONDER/PRINCE/CURTIS MAYFIELD/TERENCE TRENT d'ARBY in only ONE GUY....his album will be out in January 2008 and i'm gonna buy it for sure! |

I don't see what's so great about Van Hunt. He's just another completely mediocre neo-soul act  It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Dude, are you serious? Van Hunt has got loads of talent, he may not show it all on record cause non of the actual songs are how he wanted them to be. That's Capitol records for ya. But if you've heard the original mixes as well as tunes from his new album you'll realise that he is no slouch. And for the record he aint neo-soul either Van Hunt is Funk and Rock. The neo-soul label is there cause there's just no way a brother is gonna get any radio play under the funk/rock label these days. Don't tell me you can't see any difference between Van Hunt and music Soulchild.  | |
