It's not my favorite U2 show (that'd be Zoo TV), but it is definitely worth your time. The set list is flawless, and I think that they were at their most over the top here. Bono's voice has been better, however.

I can't give Zoo TV enough praise. It was a huge spectacle; the audience had a million images at once to focus on, but the band still managed to keep it intimate.

I'd check it out. Oh by the way, both the U2 DVD and Madonna's Girlie Show DVD were shot in late November 1993 in Sydney.

Don't think it's the same venue. U2 played at Sydney Football Stadium, and Madonna played Sydney Cricket Ground.
