Thats the cool thing about BLUE NOTE is they will "back you" when you play shows, they want you to play. I remember going to Norah Jones shows back in late 1999 and 2000 just as she was getting signed to Blue Note, she was gigging all over NYC, she played everywhere and built a solid following, and was selling an early demo cd at the shows too, then of course "she blew up" though no one expecting it like that, and Blue Note backed her playing in all markets of the world, and now tthat the "Craze" has died down to normalcy for her, BLUE NOTE is still funding her going all over the world and playing, currently she was in the UK and did a show in poland and russia, now thats support from a label! "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

^ Very
Thanks for the heads-up about the new Van Hunt songs!!! "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015

I remember that from the oly concert I have ever seen there and it reinforced my view that Americans are crazy . But at least you could still stand in front of the stage and weren't really bothered by what was goin on in the back . With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! I saw The Time there once and Jerome was walking in between the tables while people were eating their steak dinners or whatever. I just stood in the back by the bar.

So there's like dinner tables on the main floor? Well as long as you can stand up front. Because that's where i'll be.

No dinner tables for this show. I called the venue and asked. I wasn't gonna stand for that crap.

That should have been left empty for people to get their groove on.
