Anyways. Baby's On Fire is featured on Eno's first solo outing. I can remember it lying on the floor of my first boyfriend's bedroom. What's that, I asked. He said it was his favourite fuck-record. And damn, soon it was mine too.



Tying in perfectly with the album title of Eno's debut album. Prophetic.

You know, shouting along to this song will always make me feel better when down.

I love the way the guitar just chops the song up at the end.

I don't have Eno's first solo album, but I do have and like some of his other '70s records. 'Another Green World' is a favourate of mine. Some of it is beautiful, reflective stuff.

I don't have any dirty stories or profound insights to share, but I do love that song, and I like pretty much every song Eno recorded on his four pop albums in the '70s.

I also really like the way Blank Frank jumps out of the speakers after the sedate Faraway Beach. Even after a thousand listens that can still make me jump a bit now and then if I'm not paying close attention.
