i saw sinead o'connor tonight!

the show was amazing. our seats were amazing. her voice is amazing.

i didn't even know sinead was going to be in the city. we found out a few days ago and got 4th row seats for BELOW COST on ebay! thumbs up!

she did all my favorites: the lamb's book of life, last day of our acquaintance, black boys on mopeds, thank you for hearing me, emperor's new clothes (she opened with this!)...it was so good! her version of nothing compares 2 u is SO much better than any version prince has ever done and tonight was no exception.

the new cd sounds pretty good but i haven't heard the whole thing yet. i'll have to get to that pretty soon.

if you get the chance to see her perform, GO! you won't be sorry.

the show was RIDICULOUS!!!!!

it must have felt like a triumph for her, the place was going crazy for her and rightly so.

her voice was incredible and she delivered an incredibly DEAD ON setlist.
she could teach prince a thing or two about a setlist.

so we didnt get 'troy', but that was to be expected...

but when she pulled out '3 babies', you could hear the place gasp!
'black boys on mopeds', 'never get old' and 'what does not belong to me' were extraordinary.

one of the best concerts i have ever seen.

Has she not played those songs for awhile? I'd love to hear make a more rockin' album again...

yeah, she was talking about 10 years since she's been in the states but, i saw her at the mann in philadelphia and i know it was not 10 years ago. it was after her faith and courage cd came out. she opened with nothing compares to you and she played with the chieftains. it was a great show!
