Anybody down with the Electrosoul/funk/dance movement?

I see a lot of complaints about soul/rnb being dead/lacking substance or whatever. Well it's about time we started to look beneath the surface. I've found some real gems recently. Plus there's none of the corny stuff found on most neo-soul albums (damn I hate that term). The song-writing is top notch and there a good mix of live instrumentation and electronics.

Just bought the new Peven Everett yesterday and I just can't put it down, very unique and modern soul with some really nice keys and guitars, all instruments and production done by him as well. "This just in" is my new favourite song.

Shaun Escoffery has been killin it with his brand of cosmic soul for quite a while now. Space rider needs to be heard.

More house than rnb but the vocals are very soulful riding those hard beats. Wonderful work by this awesome DJ. Some hints of afrobeat with lots of percussions and rhythm.

Again more mixing of styles, this time some jazz, afrobeat and latin added for good measure. The vocals are a bit Stevie Wonder-esque but he does the great man justice with some really great lyrics. Keys and jazz piano rules this one and he uses the vocoder brilliantly on some tracks. This is really some next level shit.

Out of all of the artists you mentioned, Everett does ring a bell. I've heard some of his stuff before and its pretty tight.

Cool list I'm also into Spacek and Vikter Duplaix. Hows the 4Hero: play with the changes? Saw it at the store yesterday.
The Vault is the one Erro album I don't have but heard good things about it.

The 4hero is Nice--It's probably closer in feel to their "Changing Patterns" album-- a nice mix of Soul/Jazz/Electro-Funk....

"The Vault" is my favorite ERRO album, Ilike it better than his other releases--just my opinion,though...

I just have one thing to ask. Is any of this stuff fast? If so, I will definately be on the lookout in the record stores.
