Eddie Vedder's "Into the wild" one of the years best work Eddie Vedders soundtrack to Into the Wild is one of this years best pieces of work from anyone. Coming in at 33 minutes of music, it just takes you to a time when you could throw on a record and not have to skip anything and get lost in the mood of the record. Right now this record and Mellencamps "Freedoms Road" are two of my choices for the years best work. One small note many reviews of this record point out how much Eddie is recalling Michael Stipe in his ways of writing lyrics, and its true, he knows how to create these images and then lets you figure it out.

Just heard the first half, but I was impressed! Could very well be in the top of an end-year-list! Not so sure on some of your other entries though... | |
