Here in America we're used to music where blackss sounded black and whites sounded white. ever since the last part of the last century that changed. You had other artists doing other music.

For instance in 1983 when Madonna started people thought she was black. They playded her on black stations and assumed she was until the saw her video. Then there's The Spice Girls, not only was one girl black there was 5 of them. They all sounded so aliek I just thught it was 2 of them.

Due to his look,psyche, and styles of music Prince has always been one to cause confusion. But radio wasn't always so divided. I know in The 80s here in Houston Majic 102 used to play white artists. Boy George,Nu Shooz,ABC,The Human League, The Pet Shop Boyz,Scandal,George Michael, and Madonna all got played. I don't know why in the 90s non-Hip Hop or R&B artists didn't get played on urban stations. Yet ironically a black yet pretty soulful artist Tina Turner didn'treally get any play.

What about Elvis? Everyone thought he was black until they saw him on TV.

What;s funny is Rick Astley sounds white to me. And Elvis black?? Don't know what that will do for rumors he hated black people.

Suprised nobody put Pink on thee. LA and Babyface thought she was superblack when they first heard her. Even with the videos people had some confusion on weather she was black or white.

Kind aliek Taylor Dayne. My mom and I thought she was one color and my aunt another. I'm still not super clear on weather she is black or white. Speaking of which, she is one of those people who's last name should be the first.
