if you think radio sucks, listen to one of them old school r&b stations. It may be your speed/pace

Like I said before, The Con has been getting rave reviews, but it's just not clicking with me. There are only three songs I really like on it: "Back In Your Head", "Floorplan" and "Dark Come Soon". Whereas So Jealous only had two songs that I thought were average. Good to know! I'll start with those.

I'm sick to death of classic rock, but we listen to oldies constantly

Moderator | I usually listen to:
http://923krock.com/ or http://www.q1043.com/main.html both are pretty crappy, but it's better than nothing! Krock went off the air for a year, but they are back now so I'm just happy to have a rock station! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this one song that's been getting a lot of play on radio as well as VH1 and MTV. The band Rooney has returned with their new single, "When Did Your Heart Go Missing". I kinda dig it since it sounds like it stepped out of the mid-80's. It sounds like it could be off one of those 80's teen comedy soundtracks or something. It has a bit of an L.A. New Wave vibe to it.
Guilty pleasure I suppose. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

I find the better songs are in TV commercials--like VW using all those Wilco songs or the song in the Ipod Nanno commercial, a cute little ditty, (I forget her name Spunk or something). [Edited 9/25/07 19:23pm] My Legacy

The bigger difference is terrestrial vs. internet. So no listening to K-Rock2 in the car. spelling [Edited 9/26/07 18:26pm]

Guilty pleasure I suppose. I was gonna start a thread about this song. Its catchy as hell, but its Pat Benetars Love is a Battle field. Everything about it. THe drums, the tempo, the instumentation, everything. I dont wanna like it, but yet on some level I do. [Edited 9/27/07 10:27am] A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

The arragement went perfectly with the lyrics. "We Are Strong. No One Can Tell Us We're Wrong. Searching In Our Hearts So Long, Both Of Us Knowing. Love Is A Battefield."

What stations are u guys listening 2?
I haven't heard of half of these... Fergie ...can't stand her or The Black Eyed Peas... when she was on 'so u think u can dance' as a guest performer, I didn't bother watching. Ryan Cabrera and Ashlee Simpson used to have some good songs on the radio, but they haven't done anything new lately. Michelle Branch also had some good music until she went country on me... had to sell her 2nd album cuz I never listened 2 it. But today, I like: Maroon 5- Makes me Wonder Nelly Furtado- Say it Right (I forgot this one, haha) Over You- Daughtry If Everyone Cared- Nickelback Cable Car- The Fray (don't like any of their new songs) Ever the Same- Rob Thomas Girlfriend- Avril Lavinge Nobody's Home Happy Ending (not on much lately, but also great Avril songs) had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone
