There are no good songs on the radio. Period.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

The only good music on the radio these days comes from the classic rock and classic soul stations. The rest suck.

I love listening to the radio, but top 40 stations are just killing me right now. Just killing me.

However I do like the new Britney song. most of it.

Well I've lost interest completely with Sean Kingston's 'Beautiful Girls' - I'm sure Radio 1 was playing it when 'Um-ber-ella ella ella eh eh eh...' was being saturated and aside from the nifty sample of 'Stand by me,' the guy's voice just annoys the hell out of me.

I never hear it on the radio unfortunately but it's on some of the music channels a lot but I'm really digging 'Young Folks' by Peter, Bjorn & John - THAT is a classic.

I'll start by saying that I really love this Finger Eleven song 'Paralyzer'
The singer has a nice voice, its a rock song with a dancey almost slightly funky beat and it makes me happy smile

Though when I looked up more songs by this band, they sucked sad
The other songs reminded me of Staind ill

but this ones gooood http://youtube.com/watch?v=BYGCT4AQIR0

See, I thought they were a new band doing something different too. But my friend who is a Metalhead told me that they're at the point of selling out. So now they've changed their sound from Alt-Nu-Metal to a more radio-friendly Dance/Rock akin to Franz Ferdinand. They're not who they used to be. lol

None that I can think of offhand. I've given up on pop radio. It is a hopeless mess right now. I can't believe they're playing that Britney Spears song. I listened to a little bit of it, And when that rapper called her "The Legendary Britney Spears" I just about crashed my car.

lmao - well I expect the rapper was probably given a large cash sum by her PR people to give her the epithet 'legendary.' I suppose she is legendary in the sense of releasing very bad, overhyped music.

She ought to have gone into retirement after releasing her Greatest Hits.

Because of this thread, over the weekend I went to the aol on demand channels and requested videos for as many of the top 20 songs on the U.S. chart that were available for viewing--attempting to make my own sort of-countdown show (remember American Top 40? sigh ) so I can hear what the hell is considered popular these days.

What a bunch of crap.

The worst has to be that Soulja Boy song "Crank That". Hurricane Chris' "A Bay Bay" is way horrible also, but I knew that song already.

yes! yes! yes!

Great single! Those girls were born and raised in my city so maybe that's why I've actually heard this one...

but yeah, their new album is on a major (Sire, i think) so that track should be getting some burn!

Disappointed in the album. So Jealous was one of my favorite albums of this decade so I had high expectations for The Con. Perhaps too high. neutral

I hadn't heard the single before buying the album. I would have been really angry if I had heard that hot track first. Most of the other songs don't even come close I think.

Let me know what you think. Like I said before, The Con has been getting rave reviews, but it's just not clicking with me. There are only three songs I really like on it: "Back In Your Head", "Floorplan" and "Dark Come Soon". Whereas So Jealous only had two songs that I thought were average.
