The Blow Monkeys - Digging Your Scene

Im like a boy amongst men
Im like a personal friend dancing jig

WHO else knows about this soul pop jem that came out on RCA Records in 1986?
Anyone have their whole album? How is it? That bass line can't be beat. The background vocals turned up and his English accent were slammin on this record.

Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Love it - that was one of the last 45s I can remember buying, actually.

Indie-rock band Ivy did a nice cover of it a few years back.

I like Deluxe Music, it's just perfect for old 40+ farts like us smile

seriously, unlike MTV they play actual music vidoes instead of crappy reality shows, and you get a chance to see some old gems again. they run short on new and contemporary music though

I recently rediscovered these guys through Sirius. I liked the song so much that I bought a relatively cheaply priced import set, Unforunately, the mix on the CD is slightly different than the one the readio plays. I sampled a few other songs and they are pretty good, too.

Love, love, love this song!! Brings back great 80's memories. This is one song that I can listen to repeatedly and never get tired of it. I especially love the "Uh tell me why" part of the song. Don't ask me why, but I just like the way it's sung. lol
