Ndeed! It was written by keyboardist Don Blackman... I Like Irvine's version, I also love Twennynine's version(featuring Blackman) on their album, "Best Of Friends"....

If I'm not mistaken, he also wrote "Peanut Butter",,,right?(It just sounds right up his alley to me).

He wrote "young gifted & black" with Nina Simone did'nt he?
I have a few of his vinyls that I love. My favourite is "we gettin' down". Did he do any recrdings in recent years before his tragic death? I think I only heard the 70's stuff of his. /peace Manki | |
