Looking back on the 1988 Grammys, it still pisses me off that "Bad" or "Sign 'o The Times" didn't win Album of the Year, but "Joshua Tree" did

Fuck outta here with that bullshit There was nothing special about the Bad album at all, therefore it didn't deserve to win the Album of the Year. Sign of the Times was in a completely different league, so you could say Prince was cheated. But hey winning grammies doesn't mean much, the Beatles rarely won grammies and look how they are revered. I have not seen or heard of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and George Clinton performance. Must go check the voting website... BTW, while I voted for James Brown and Usher, did other orgers think it was a lackluster performance? | |

Fuck outta here with that bullshit It is only the Grammy Awards. Off The Wall did not win Album of the Year; it does not mean people like it less. Same goes with SOTT and Bad. And Joshua Tree was a good album. While I think U2 is the most overrated band of all time, Bono and Co. got something right with that album. If ONLY U2 lived up to the hype.
