Hey Kayne,Justin,50...etc... Put your money where your mouth is (Added 9/11 cash in quote)

Ive seen so many comments lately and the thing that annoys is that people are applauding them on comments about MTV and expoitation and not playing videos etc.. This shit has been going on for at least a decade with MTV. My take on Kanye is that this is more HYPE to sell a record, he was saying hours before the show that Britney shouldnt be there because she hasnt had a hit in 5 million years, BUT once her performance is a joke and she gets the HYPE, he aligns himself with her as if they are this "new duo", now his angle is "MTV used Britney and me for ratings", got news for you, they all use you for ratings, you are an employee of a much bigger picture. Now as for Justins comments with "not playing videos", Ok Chris Rock said that about 5 years ago in his stand-up on the show, so once again you rip-off the black man for your gain.

Heres the thing, if any of them want to prove a point or "change" the tide, pull a George Michael/Pearl Jam and dont make videos or appear in them at all anymore, dont do a damn thing for these shows, and yes i say shows, because for KANYE and 50 to talk about expoiting and MTV and then go on BET with it, is pure hipocracy. BET and MTV and VH1 and all their money goes into the same bank. So heres my challenge to them, U wanna prove your point, dont promote your record, take your ass out do shows, whatever, BUT dont take ONE dollar from these institutions, prove to everyone that you mean business, Be fucking noble, they talk about being able to reach millions, but they arent saying anything to help, so to me all their talk is empty and HYPE because when the chips are down they wont sacrifice themselves for the cause.

Hear, hear! As much as I agree with their comments (MTV needs to play music videos; MTV exploited Britney Spears for ratings), all three are HYPOCRITES.

Yeah thats my point about them. THEY have a chance to do something since they are mainstream and they make alot of money for their labels and networks, so they can make a difference, thats my challenge to them. Shoot George Michael sacrificed almost everything and coulndt record, Pearl Jam took on ticket agencies and won and created their own way to do business, they also stopped making videos at a time when everyone was making them and MTV was showing them, but they took them on. I just see all this talk being EMPTY.

At the end of the day, Justin Timberlake can talk shit about MTV but he knows where is bread is buttered...he ain't challenging shit! Same with Kanye. Bet he did TRL yesterday or whenever....wouldn;'t be shocked if he apologized. I don't remember hearing Fiddy saying anything, good or bad (he was just honestly shocked with Britney Spears, which is probably one of the best moments from the show).

MTV has proved it is nearly done as a source of music and if things are to change with the business, things have to change. Youtube should be embraced for new and old videos all the way. That's where I see new (and of course, old) videos all the time and it certaintly hasn't stopped me from buying CDs, only helped me discover more new music. Satelitte radio isn't hurting things either!

Well, that's putting your money where your mouth is! Did they have to announce that on TRL? Doubt he'll stop making videos, but frankly he doesn't have to and doesn't have to in order to boycott MTV.

But he did BET which all goes into the same bank account, so he has a long way to go to prove that he means what he says. Just an add a few weeks ago i was wondering when someone would use 9/11 as a commercial to build on and here it is....

The rapper brought the release of Graduation forward so he could stage a chart face-to-face with 50 Cent, and it was only after his decision that he realised what date the album would come out.

He says, "I was a little worried about that day, because I didn't want to be offensive to anyone, to act like I was neglecting that (anniversary).

"But people also want to celebrate and have a good time and have something to uplift their spirits. And I believe that my music is inspirational, so it's a perfect album to come out on a day like that."
