Tiffany Edwards feat. Ciara - Promise Ring Shit I saw this video on BET 106 & Park this morning. Daym!
That song is on point. I cannot believe Ciara put out that "Cant Leave Em" bullshit when she got hot dance tracks on her cd. Anyway even though I know this is probably just another one hit Ciara wanna-be wonder this jam is hotter than all the girl songs out right now. I really was stuck on the screen the minute I heard the beat. A fast thumping drum track dominates the track followed by some light synth stamps. one can compare to Ciara's "Get Up" "1,2, Step" and "Get In Fit In". Tiffany's voice is very thin but comes a little stronger by the end. Promise Ring" is the first single by R&B singer Tiffany Evans from her debut album, Tiffany Evans. The song was produced by Mr. Collipark and The Clutch. It was leaked on to the Internet on May 15, 2007, and was officially released to iTunes on May 29, 2007. The song was played on mainstream urban contemporary radio stations. The music video was shot on May 23 to May 25 by directors Fat Cats, and it was released on June 22, 2007. It was featured as the "New Joint of the Day" on BET's music video countdown show 106 & Park on July 24, 2007. Since its BET premiere, the video has received moderate airplay and is now able to be voted onto the 106 & Park countdown. The song is currently number 66 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Charts. Her last name is Evans.
I watched a few of her clips on youtube the other day. Did anyone see her performance on Star Search a few years ago when she was only 10? Check it out on youtube. Li'l mama can definitely blew. I'm not feeling Promise Ring. It was written for someone with a voice like Cassie or Ciara. | |

Tiffany has to be under 18. I say that because she won Star Search a few years ago (when Aresnio hosted it). She was only about 10 then. Bio from Wiki: Evans was born in the Bronx, New York, and began to sing at the early age of three. She was on the popular show the Showtime at the Apollo and won in the Children's competion many times. Later, she went on to compete in Star Search twice and received a perfect score in the junior division both times, at one point winning over Lisa Tucker, a finalist on Season 5 of American Idol. Evans was trained by vocal coach Sal Dupree, who also trained America's Got Talent contestant winner Bianca Ryan. Evans sang "Who Am I?" for the film Tarzan II and its soundtrack. She appeared in the movie Diary of a Mad Black Woman and on its soundtrack. She is currently signed to Columbia Records and is working on an album slated for a 2007 release. A song titled "Girl Gone Wild" produced by Timbaland and The Clutch was included on the mix cd Tapemasters Inc. - The Future of R&B Volume 14. Her self-titled debut album was originally released as an eight-track EP in 2004 that included a bonus DVD. Limited copies of this EP were available at a few online retailers and at Limited Too! stores, before being quickly pulled. Her single "Promise Ring" (featuring Ciara) was featured as the "New Joint" on 106 & Park on July 24, 2007. To begin promoting her album, she appeared at Screamfest '07. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Yes babygirl got some serious pipes. I am afraid to listen to the sample of this song. I remember she sung the national anthem for the 2005 afc championship football game at heinz field when the pittsburgh steelers hosted the new england patriots. She ripped it. She is a pittsburgh native and steelers fan. I am digging her already. Go Steelers! Don't laugh at my funk
